Getting Started

Getting started with Pickle

Set up your workspace, run your first search, and start sourcing healthcare candidates in a few minutes.

Welcome to Pickle. This guide walks you through your first few minutes in the product — from signing in to sending your first outreach — so you can start sourcing healthcare candidates right away.

Sign in to your workspace

Your workspace is where your team's searches, lists, and activity live. Open the invite link from your onboarding email and set a password, or sign in with your work email if your organization uses single sign-on.

Once you're in, you'll land on the home dashboard. Everything below happens from here.

Run your first search

Searching is the core of Pickle. To find candidates:

  1. Open Search from the left navigation.
  2. Choose a discipline — for example, Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  3. Add filters like location, license status, and experience to narrow the pool.
  4. Review the verified results and open any candidate to see their full record.

Each result is a unified candidate record — contact details, work history, and credentials in one place — so you don't have to piece profiles together from job boards.

Save candidates to a list

Lists keep the people you're interested in organized and shareable with your team.

  • Select one or more candidates from your search results.
  • Click Add to list and either pick an existing list or create a new one.
  • Share the list with teammates so everyone works from the same shortlist.

Start outreach

When you're ready to reach out, open a candidate or list and choose Outreach. Pickle keeps a shared activity history, so your team can see who has already been contacted and avoid duplicate messages.

Next steps

  • Invite the rest of your team so activity and lists stay in sync.
  • Explore saved searches to get notified when new candidates match your criteria.
